Experience
Ms. Fassett's practice involves business litigation and contract disputes. Such matters include intellectual property rights, real property rights, creditors' rights, and employment rights. Ms. Fassett's practice emphasizes all aspects of employment law including wrongful termination and discrimination, in both state and federal courts. Ms. Fassett also counsels public and private employers on preventative personnel practices, drafting and implementation of appropriate personnel policies and procedures, and investigation of claims. She further represents public and private employers in litigation and administrative hearings and arbitrations. She also handles litigation involving trusts and estates.
Prior to joining Price, Postel & Parma, Ms. Fassett was corporate counsel for a high tech company. In that position, she acted as litigation counsel and also coordinated legal affairs of the company throughout the United States and worldwide. She handled the company's employment matters, licensing and regulatory issues, and corporate affairs.
Since 1983, Ms. Fassett's practice has involved complex tort litigation, employment litigation, and product liability. She is admitted to practice before the courts of the states of California and New Mexico.
